Description: NA This action is a service/parts requirement. The correct RFP for this action is DAAH23-02-R-0416. This action was published under a class code as a service item. In order to publish item under a parts class code, another RFP was use to generate a synopsis for this action. The following is the synopsis for this requirement. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to procure technical, engineering and logistic services and providing 100% of the parts and material for five (5) years for Corpus Chris ti Army Depot (CCAD) in support of all CCAD overhaul and repair activities for the H-60 components. This is a fully integrated effort. The contractor must be able to provide the full range of services and 100% of material in order to meet the Government’ s requirement. The contractor will provide technology insertion, obsolescence management and test cell upgrades in support of reliability improvements and for the engines. They will provide AMCOM Depot Maintenance engineering with technical and engineerin g assistance and assist and advise CCAD in establishing commercial best practices in the areas of production planning, production control, material management and process engineering. This effort also requires that the contractor develop overhaul and work station kits and provide logistical support functions in the inventory management of the parts and the material required by CCAD in the overhaul/repair of the H-60 components in order to streamline CCAD component production and to reduced repair turn aroun d time by a 50% reduction. The logistic support functions include supplying 100% of the parts required for CCAD to overhaul H-60 components. Complete and adequate data is not available to support full and open competition. This is sole source procurement to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615, who alone has the background design knowledge, experience, data, and/or equipment to support technical, engineering, material, and modernization capability required by this effort. Al l responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
