- The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with CDW-G, 230 N. Cable; 1 each item #090436, Cisco Female DCE V.35 10 ft. Cable; 2 each item #092328, Cisco Female DCE RS232 10 ft. Cable; 2 each item #087271, Cisco Male DTE RS 232 10 ft. This requirement is part of a remote observation project and will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1. When supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source, or for DOD, from only one or a limited number of sources, and no other types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for. CDW-G is the only known responsible source of this specific equipment with the required interface. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
