Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. It is neither a Request for Proposal nor a solicitation. The objective purpose of this request is to obtain market research data to assist in obtaining 100% set aside for small business concerns to provide delivery, pick-up, laundering, sterilization, inventory and return of contractor owned surgical linen/gown packs for Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX. Interested concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid as early as possible but no later than 28 May 02. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small business concern; evidence of capacity to provide delivery, pick-up, laundering, sterilization, inventory and return of contractor owned surgical linen/gown packs for Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX; past experience and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform a project of this complexity. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. NOTE: If adequate interest is not received from small business concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from small business concerns. The solicitation will be issued approximately 15 to 20 days from close of this notice. A firm-fixed price is contemplated.
