- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-00-G-0288 to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 Main St. Stratford, Ct. 06601 to fabricate and install Integrated Self Defense (ISD) A-Kits onto five MH-60R Low Rate Production Aircraft. This effort includes the fabrication of the wiring, fairings, connectors and miscellaneous hardware needed to mount the ISD onto the aircraft. The installation shall take place at Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems, Owego, NY or Patuxent Naval Air Station, Patuxent, Md. SAC is the designer, developer and sole manufacture of the airframe for the MH-60R aircraft and the only known source possessing the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to perform this effort.
