Description

NA The work to be performed requires the contractor to provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, transportation, removal and disposal of all debris associated with the removal of existing window assemblies in stairwells A, B, and other selected loc ations in building 9200, Martin Army Community Hospital, FT. Benning, GA. Replacing with frame/glazing units of the same size as removed from corresponding openings. Window/frame units consisting of fixed, double pane, tinted, low-e, shatter resistant (AN SI Z97.1) safety glass and coated aluminum frames, glass and coated aluminum frames, fire rated glazing (NFPA 251), and fire rated aluminum frames. Provide and install locks for all new windows as well as existing windows. Locks are to match existing (Blai ne #8043) locks. Provide keys for window locks (Blaine #2053 ? ?? wrench). The anticipated performance period is 120 days in length. All prospective vendors are expected to be listed in the Central Contractor Registrar (http//www.ccr.gov) and have a CAGE C ode number. This is a Total Small Business set a side; the NAICS code is 235920 ($12M). The range magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. It is anticipated that this project will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract and a copy of Request for Proposal will be available on or about 23 May 2002. Solicitations will be available only electronically. Faxed proposals will not be accepted.
