Description
NA The Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) requires research services in the area of Cultural Resource Services. Research services will include a wide range of cultural resource activities, primarily archaeological investigations, and other specia lized studies. The service areas contemplated are divided into two separate geographic regions (defined by a collection of U.S. states): the Southwest (including California and Kansas) and the East (including NE, SE, and Gulf Coast states). The Contracts o ffice intends to award firm fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts for a base period with four (4) additional option periods. Multiple awards may be made from this solicitation. Offerors may propose for one or both geographic region s. The solicitation and resulting contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965, as Amended. The place of performance is unknown. Possible places or areas of performance which the Contracting Officer has requested wage determinations incl ude: Ft Riley KS, Ft Bragg NC, Ft Campbell KY, Fort Irwin CA, Fort Bliss, TX, Fort Hood, TX, Atlanta, GA, Durham, NC, and Albuquerque NM. The Contracting Officer will request wage determinations for additional possible places of performance if asked to do so in writing; however, requests for wage determinations for additional places must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 2:00 p.m., 10 days after the issue date of the solicitation. All responsible sources capable of providing the services requested are encouraged to submit a proposal. Request for proposal (RFP) DACA42-02-R-0018 will be issued on or about 03 Jun 02 with a closing date on or about 22 Jul 02.
