- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Small Business Set-a-Side is hereby dissolved in accordance with FAR 13.105.The proposed contract is issued as a sole source to 3M Company Industrial Chemical Products Division 3M Center St Paul, MN 55144-1000. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0185 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2002-07 as well as DCN 20020426. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325998 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001: 2500 LB.Copolymer, Fluorel FC 2175, Material Certification is required to meet specifications on 3306AS128. Specfications cannot be downloaded, therefore, the specifications can be obtained by contacting, Mike Harbison Phone (812-854-3647) Fax (812-854-3717) or E-mail: harbison_m@crane.navy.mil . Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 60days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
