Description
This is modification 6 to the synopsis entitled Information Systems Directorate Operations and Support Services Contract posted on March 5, 2002. This modification confirms the date for the Contractor On-Site Briefing (Presolicitation Conference) as Wednesday, May 15, 2002, as well as extends the Conference an additional day to Thursday, May 16, 2002, for a Costing Presentation and, for those interested, a tour of related Statement of Work facilities. On May 15, 2002, the overview of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be presented. The presentation will be held in the Ballroom at the Gilruth Center at the Johnson Space Center (JSC), 2101 NASA Road One, Houston, Texas, 77058. Registration begins at 8 am and the Conference will begin at 9 am and run to approximatley 4:30 pm. An Agenda is attached for your preview at http://jsc-web-pub.jsc.nasa.gov/bd01/IOSS/agenda.doc. On May 16, 2002, a tour of pertinent Statement of Work related faclities will be given to interested parties. Tours will run approximately 3 to 4 hours and will consist of the following: Building 2 - Public Affairs, Multi-Media Productions, Teague Auditorium; Building 46 - Information Technology Servers; Building 8 - Photographic and Digital Imaging Laboratory, Television Operations; Building 7 - the closed circuit television system used to monitor test subjects in manned and unmanned vacuum chamber tests; Building 227 - Graphics and Print Shop; and Building 423 and 424 - Media Resource Center and Film Repository. Several tour times will be available the morning of May 16. For those interested, a tour sign-up sheet will be provided during Registration on May 15. In addition to the tours scheduled for Thursday, May 16, a Costing Presentation will be held in the JSC Gilruth Center Ballroom. Registration will begin at 8 am with the Costing Briefing sheduled from 9 am to 11 am. Please use Gate #5 off of Space Center Blvd. to access the JSC Gilruth Center. Gate #5 will allow those without badges access to the JSC Gilruth Center only.
