Description
NA The proposed facility to be constructed will incorporate a Training Center, Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS) and a Unit Storage Building. A fenced Military Equipment Parking (MEP) area will be provided adjacent to the OMS building. The Training Cent er is a 4,562 square meter, two story building which contains offices and adiminstrative spaces, classrooms, library, learning center, physical readiness arms vault and armorer' and chr (39), room, assembly hall, kitchen, toilets, lockers, showers and buil ding support functions. The OMS is a 514 square meter single story vehilce maintenance building which contains office and administrative areas, tool and parts storage, electronics/communications repair, toilets, mech/electrical room and three work bays. T he Unit Storage Building is a pre-engineered metal building which contains heated and cooled storage spaces, offices, toilets, janitorial mechanical and electrical and telephone rooms. The optional bid items for this project are as follows: 1 and 2 Addit ional Unit Storage Building Area, 3 Decorative site fence to include three manual operated gates and one automatic opening gate with proximity access system, 4 Provisions for CCTV system at automatic gate, 5 a Bi-Level loading ramp, 6 Bituminus paving in t he MEP areas, 7 Lighting for the POV parking areas, and 8 A gravel running tract The estimated cost range for this project is $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 03 June 2002 and Bid Opening Date is 03 J uly 2002 at 2:00 PM Louisville Local Time. This project is available on compact disk and web only. Project specification files are portable document format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing file s are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are: 480-based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB applicati on RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive.
