Description
This acquisition is for the following item(s). Item 0001 NSN: 4810-00-460-0547GA, P/N: 205-072-277-9, Noun: Regulation Valve, item(s) applicable to UH001N Helicopter. FUNC: Control & distribute hot and cold air through the heating & ventilating system, DIM: 17 5/8 inchesx 7 5/8 inches x 5 1/2 inches, MAT: Various materials. The basic quantity is 5 each. There will be one (1) out year option with a quantity range of 1-15 each. Estimated total quantity will be twenty (20) each. No technical data is available. Destination: Robins AFB GA 31098, Delivery is 5 each on or before 31 Mach 2003. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. See WEB page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ . To Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., (CAGE 97499), 600 Hurst Blvd, Hurst TX 76053, Justification: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contactor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
