There will be no exceptions as this is a requirement of the host Agency. We consider attendance at this conference to be vital in the preparation of a competitive and cost effective proposal. Attendance will also enhance your understanding of specific solicitation requirements and the Government_s intended results. Contractor attendance at this conference, is desired however, it is not mandatory. Failure to attend may not be used as an excuse for omissions and miscalculations of proposals received. Comments and technical questions pertaining to solicitation requirements must be submitted in written form, prior to the proposal close date. This will enable evaluation by Government Representatives of all identified areas of concern. Please address all such correspondence to the attention of the undersigned at the above address. It is again emphasized that it is most advantageous for each interested Contractor to have a qualified Representative at this conference. This will assist in our preparation for a successful conference that is advantageous to all interested parties. John J.
