Description
The Coastal Systems Station (CSS), Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Tavis Corporation, 3636 Hwy 49 South, Mariposa, CA 95338-9718 on a sole source basis for eight each variable reluctance pressure sensors for evaluation. Over the years, CSS have performed extensive research and evaluation to identify a technology that meets the Navy?s stringent requirements. The Tavis Corporation technology provides the most promising solution to the problem. The existing pressure sensor design cannot meet the requirements of temperature drift over time in its tactical deployment. The sensor must also be of low power consumption as power management is critical. Delivery will be to the Coastal Systems Station, 6703 W. Highway 98, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. The NAICS is 334519 and the size standard is 500 employees. Note 22 apply.
