Description

NA THIS SOLICITATION WAS PREVIOUSLY POSTPONED INDEFINITELY. The work consists of design and construction for the renovation of 144 existing military family housing units. Work includes re-configuring floor plans to improve functinal layouts, replacement of cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, doors, windows, wood trim, f loor coverings, vinyl siding, ceramic tile, roofing, HVAC, and landscaping. Must comply with DoD interim minimum force protection construction standards. Estimated cost range of this project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about May 22, 2002, and will be provided on Compact Disks (CD-ROMS). IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Registration of plans and specifications MUST BE MADE VIA OUR INTERNET HOME PAGE at www.swt.usace.army.mil; select Information; Contracting; Solicitations. No phone calls to order please. All orders will be mailed via first class mail. Requests for special handling (Fed-X, etc.) will not be honored.
