Description

NA WCC intends to competitively award a contract for the rental of 10 commercial refrigeration containers (40 ft x 8 ft x 8.5 ft high)with integrated refrigeration and generator sets to support the transportation of perishable goods to government commissaries in Germany and Benelux countries. The lease shall include maintenance and repair services during the rental period (base year plus up to 2 option years). Delivery must be within 4 weeks after award. Contractor must provide routine maintenance/repair at R hine Ordnance Barracks (Kaiserslautern area) and specialized repair within 100 KM of Rhine Ordnance Barracks. The containers and maintenance/repair services must meet detailed technical specifications provided in the solicitation DAJA22-02-T-0219 to be iss ued on or about May 22, 2002. The Government intends to issue the solicitation via the Internet at: http://acquisition.army.mil The solicitation and any changes to this solicitation will be posted only on the Internet. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the site daily for any posted changes. Standard Industry Classification Code is 7513. NOTE:The response date of 06/05/2002 is a target date. The actual response date will be as stated in the solicitation.
