Description
NA The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is interested in purchasing commercially available 12 gauge Non-Lethal Ammunition. These rounds will be consistent with M1012 (Point Control) and M1013 (Crowd Control) round that satisfies the performance specifications PRF 12982874 and PRF 12982875 respectively. The line items and amounts to be purchased are: Line item 0001 72,000 M1012 rounds: Line item 0002 - 130,000 M1013 rounds for the first year, with the anticipation of two option years consisting of Line item 0003 - 100,000 M1012 rounds and Line item 0004 130,000 M1013 rounds for FY 03 and FY04. The delivery address for everything except for 30,000 M1013 rounds for year # 1 is: Crane Army Ammunition Activity Crane, IN. The remaining 30,000 M1013 for Year # 1 will be held at the contractors facility where an address will be provided at a later date.If necessary, qualification testing will be conducted by the Government on an unqualified source. The cost of this testing will be the responsibility of the GovernmentThePerformanceSpecification identifies the testing required to qualify a vendor, the government shall generate a cost estimate to conduct the complete qualification test effort for a new design. This cost shall be added to the cost proposal for any unqualified design, and the competitive evaluation will be conducted using this combined cost and schedule as a baseline for those designs. The contract will be awarded based on a best value evaluation. Respondents should submit appropriate information by July 1, 2002.
