Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F31601-02-T-0013 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-06. (iv) This solicitation is unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 421450. (v) This requirement consists of one line item. (vi) Line Item 0001: Dental Cabinets, 18 each. Details: Remove, dispose, and replace dental cabinetry, with cabinetry designed and manufactured for dental clinics, to be installed in building 260, the Base Dental Clinic. The cabinetry will include 16 7/8 inch accessory consoles (14 inch door storage and 21 inch drawer storage), solid surface counter tops, 4 inch waste chutes mounted in counter tops, 15 inch by 20 inch wall hung upper storage cabinets (door windows, wooden shelves and clock timer), 18 inch by 33 inch base cabinets, 28 inch sink modules, stainless steel sinks and knee activated faucets, 29 inch dispensing units (cup, towel, mask and glove issue) and includes x-ray alcove cabinet, with 7 inch panels for x-ray suite. A-DEC specs are attached. Mfr: A-DEC, or equal. FOB shall be destination, and shipping and installation should be included in the unit price. (vii) An optional site visit is planned for Wednesday, 22 May 2002, beginning at 9:00 AM EST, at Pope AFB, NC. (x) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Paragraph (a) of FAR 52.212-2 is added to read: Price. The contractor certifies that it can meet the delivery date by submitting a quotation. (xi) The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The contractor shall return a completed copy of this provision with its quotation. A copy of the provision may be attained from http:// farsite.hill.af.mil. (xii) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (o) is changed to read: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial warranties to the government (xiii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses identified at paragraph b of FAR 52.212-5 are considered checked and are applicable to this acquisition: (1), (5), (12-16), (21), (24). (xiv) Award can only be made to contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration web page, http://www.ccr2000.com. (xv) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) is not applicable to this acquisition. (xvi) Commerce Business Daily numbered note 1 applies to this acquisition.
