- Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Albuquerque Operations Office (AL) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) DE-RP04-02AL67456 on or around 23 May 2002. This RFP will be a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 54199. The goal of this acquisition is to provide technical and program support to DOE DP and NE offices in support of the Clear Light Water Reactor (CLWR) Program, the Advanced Accelerator Application (AAA) Program, and the Transportation and Management Program. The contract will require management of muliple work assignment. The staff to support these programs will be located primarily in Washington, DC, with significant travel between HQ, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Los Alamos, New Mexico, Chicago, IL, and Aikens, South Carolina. It is anticipated that the contract type will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) with Level of Effort (LOE) task orders. Award will be made on the best value in accordance with Sectio M of the RFP. The Government intends to award without discussions, however this does does preclude entering into discussions if found to be in the best interest of the Government.
