Description
The BIA, OIEP, Center for School Improvement (CSI) has a requirement for educational consultant services. The BIA, OIEP, CSI must provide immediate assistance to BIA schools identified as needing school improvement in order to strengthen their programs, avoid their placement in a corrective action/school improvement category; and, to ensure academic achievement levels are increased. The amount of schools identified as needing school improvement is between 50 and 100 schools located on Native American Indian reservations nationwide. Accordingly, the educational consultants will provide services to BIA schools in need of school improvement by providing technical assistance / support in the areas of (1) Assessment (2) Data Gathering (3) Reporting (4) Reading (5) Math (6) Safe and Drug Free Schools (7) Professional Development (8) Parent Involvement (9) P.L. 105-17, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 1997 (IDEA) requirements (10) School-wide Programs, and (11) Reallocation of Resources. The educational consultants will comply with P.L.107-110, No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 and the BIA State Plan requirements while providing technical assistance and support to the these BIA schools. . The BIA, OIEP, Branch of Contracts & Grants intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for each of the following areas: (1) Assessment (2) Data Gathering (3) Reporting (4) Reading (5) Math (6) Safe and Drug Free Schools (7) Professional Development (8) Parent Involvement (9) P.L. 105-17, IDEA requirements (10) School-wide Programs and (11) Reallocation of Resources. The IDIQ Contracts may include one or several of these areas and will identify the schools the contractor will provide service to. The possible contract length will be five years, one base year and four option years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered.
