Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F7AFME21060100. The 12th Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB, TX, intends to award the purchase of audio visual support for an Air Force conference in the Washington D.C. area to be held on September 12-17, 2002. Requirement is for the services by experienced personnel, materials, and equipment to provide requirement as detailed in the statement of work. The Service Contract Act of 1965 applies to this requirement. Contractors will refer to wage determination 1994-2103, rev. 24. This is a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals within five (5) calendar days after date of publication of this notice of intent. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The NAICS is 334310 and the business size standard is 750 employees. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. This requirement is a small business set-aside. Proposals will be subject to technical evaluations. A FIRM-FIXED PRICE award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the quote that provides the BEST VALUE to the government. Interested parties capable of providing the above must submit a written price quote to include discount terms. All responses will be considered. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be actively registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. Responses to this notice shall be provided in writing via e-mail to Mary Shackelford, mary.Shackelford@randolph.af.mil no later than 28 May 2002 at 4:00 P.M. (CST).
