Description

The FBI intends to award a sole source purchase order to General Dynamics C4 Systems, 1306 Concourse Drive, Suite 310, Linthicum, Maryland 21090 for 18 students to attend training for Taclane (KG-175) Operator training for installation, configuration and maintenance. General Dynamics has been designated by the manufacturer as the only other authorized Taclane Operator training. Vendor shall provide 4 (four) full days of classroom hands-on training and course material. This is considered a commercial service and is being conducted in accordance with format in FAR, Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13, SAP as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The NAICS is 61169. This will be a fixed priced contract with a base year and four (4) option years. Based on FBI market research, it has been determined that General Dynamics C4 Systems is the only source to meet the FBI requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond by submitting a proposal to include technical qualifications and experience/pricing and any other information to Cynthia W. Wills, Contracting Officer, address listed above. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
