Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation F44600-02-T-0023 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-03 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, Defense Change Notice (DCN) 200111206. It is the Contractors responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. (iv) The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7622 with a size standard $6,500,000 (v) This is an unrestricted acquisition and the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose quote is the most advantages to the Government. The Government may award a contract on the basis of initial quotes received without discussion for one GENERAL DYNAMICS, MODEL #URC 200, Mobile Radio System or Equal: The system includes 12V Car Mounting Kit, Radio Antenna W/Mounting Kit, J-12 Certification, Remote Control Unit W/30/90 MHz (VHF) 400-420 MHz (UHF), Standard Length Cable to Remote Accessory, Hand Microphone, Remote Speaker/Amplifier, for Installation in a Staff Vehicle. (vi) Delivery/Performance Period will be no later than 120 days after receipt of order. (vii) The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (viii) N/A. (ix) Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (APR 02) and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (NOV 95) with its offer. (x) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference. (xi) Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions (April 2001)(Deviation) Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, 52.247-34 F.O.B. Destination, 52.222-3 Convict Labor, 52.233-3 Protest After Award, 52.225-13 Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases, 52.232-33 Payment by Electronics Funds Transfer - Central Contractor Registration, 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items and 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, are hereby incorporated by reference. (xii) 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated By Reference this contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force effect as if they were given in full text.
