Description
The Navstar Global Positioning System (GPS) Joint Program Office (JPO), Ground Receivers project office, here within provides the following information: (1)There is an upcoming GPS Joint Program Office (JPO) DAGR RFP Pre-proposal Conference. The JPO will be discussing the DAGR RFP. The meeting will take place at Fort MacArthur, San Pedro, CA on Tuesday, 14 May 2002, 8:30 a.m to 10:00 a.m., at the Community Center. (2) One hour proprietary sessions for prime contractors will be conducted immediately after the Government briefing. To schedule a proprietary session or to attend the conference, please contact, Ms. Rosetta Skelton via e-mail, Rosetta.Skelton@losangeles.af.mil or call (310) 363-6301. Any DAGR RFP questions that an offeror wants addressed at the meetings, must be provided to Mr. David Smith, David.Smith@losangeles.af.mil, or Ms. Rosetta Skelton on or before 7 May 2002. Written questions may be submitted to SMC/CZK, Los Angeles AFB, 2420 Vela Way, Suite 1467, El Segundo, CA 90245-5649, Attn: Ms. Rosetta Skelton. (3) This notice is not intended to award a contract on the basis of information submitted nor otherwise pay for information solicited. (4) Also, be advised that an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from potential offerors during the proposal phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the System Program Director or the Contracting Officer, but to assist in communicating offeror concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendation to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
