Description
This project consists essentially of, but is not limited to, providing a new fuel filter separator building, rework of fuel piping and all mechanical, electrical and civil work to support the facility. It also includes replacing the transfer pumps in two existing buildings and replacing the electrical fixtures, equipment, wiring and conduit within them. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 233310. The approximate issue date will be 15 May 02 with an approximate response date of 14 Jun 02. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is 100% set aside for small business, HUBZone certified concerns. In addition to being certified as a small business, HUBZone concern, all firms must have commercial and government entity (CAGE) code and must be registered on Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database prior to award of the government contract. All prospective offers will be considered by the agency. The performance period is 180 days. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website at http://www.eps.gov. Telephone and facsimile requests will not be honored. The solicitation can be accessed through the following links on the EPS website: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 436 CONS. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Prospective contractors must complete the Employment Report on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (VETS-100 report). Offerors are further advised that failure to submit the VETS-100 report and register in the CCR will render your firm ineligible for award. The websites for VETS-100 report is http://vets100.cudenver.edu and CCR is www.ccr2000.com. Registration in CCR requires applicants to have a DUNS number. If you do not have a DUNS number, you may call 1-800-333-0505 to obtain one.
