Description
NA Point of Contact for this Market Survey is HERB BARON (732) 427-5619. Mailing address: US Army Communications-Electronics Command, CECOM Acquisition Center, ATTN: AMSEL-AC, Building 1208, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5008. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for (A) A Unit and Direct Support Maintenance Tool Kit. The Tool kit will consist of some 150 hand tools (i.e. hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, cutters, wrench sets etc.), wire wrappers, connector pin insertion/extraction, soldering irons , Torque meter, expendables (tape, tweezers, alcohol, silicone gel) and tool kit case(s). (B) First priority of selecting tools will be from the Federal Supply Services, U.S. General Services Administration, Federal Supply Services, Standardization and Con trol of Industrial Tools. Second priority selection of tools will be from Commercial source. (C) Tools must be equal or better than items in our list (list is available with primary NSNs, manufacture?s CAGE code, descriptions and if a life time warrantee is required). Current sources are the GSA, DLA and Commercial Tool companies. Certain tools (as indicated in our list) will require a lifetime warrantee. Tool Kits will be packaged to best commercial practices. (D) Kits must be shipped to various military organizations throughout the world or to locations close to the battlefield per government shipping orders. Kits will be shipped via commercial carriers. The contractor shall prepare technical documentation for each tool as required for a technical bullet ins manual. Potential suppliers capability of providing these items and services, as a package must be indicated, by writing to; Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-C-CF, Building 1201E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documen tation such as supplier of this item and test results, Depot Maintenance Repair procedures, and copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor/subcontractor for this item and services or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier c an, in fact, successfully supply this item and services. Successful supplier(s) may be required to warrant that the item supplied under Items and Services will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended.
