Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is F29651-02-Q-0229. This requirement is for commercial brand name items FOB destination. Requisition Number F1MMG020580100 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. This acquisition is for full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333999. The supplies required for this acquisition are Stanley Hydraulic tools (brand name only) consisting of 8 each HD4511B Hammer Drills, 16 each PD48142 Post Driver (MAAS) w/coupler (1-1/4 inch hex shank), 16 each HP18299 HP1 compact with wheel handles and hose basket, 24 each 2281 Carbide bit 1X24, 16 each 31848 Hose Assembly (dual 50 feet hose w/series 49 coupler), 8 each BR67130 Breaker Pavement (MAAS) w/coupler (1-1/4 inch hex shank), 24 each 24069 coupler set 3/8 inch. These items are required to upgrade the Harvest Falcon Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS). Headquarters AFCESA/CES recently released Engineering Technical Letter 98-10: Installation and Operation Guide for the Stanley Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) Upgrade, which specifically requires installation of the Stanley HP-1 HPU, this is also IAW Technical order 35E8-2-10-1, 3, and 4.
