Description

The solicitation will be available online at www.FedBizOpps.gov and on our regional site at www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts/service. It will be available on or about June 10, 2002 (this is an estimated date). To be included on the bidders list, interested offerors must register on our website (www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts/service). Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. We reserve the right to issue the solicitation on paper or CD-ROM if it becomes necessary. If we do so, the information from your registration at our site will be used to send you an email notification that the medium of issuance has changed. The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee, Washington, has a requirement for medical services for its employees. The services are to include: emergency treatment of on-the-job injuries for a maximum of 2 visits per occurrence; limited treatment for non-job related injuries or illness with a limit of 1 visit per occurrence; and referrals to physicians. Emergency treatment to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a Health Care Unit to be available from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday each week. Immunizations for common diseases, influenza, and tetanus will be available to all employees. Some physician ordered services will be administered: allergy shots, vitamins, etc. The facility must be located within 15 minutes travel time from the Power Office. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Coulee Community Hospital, Grand Coulee, Washington in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. If you submit a proposal in response to this notice you must demonstrate your capability to perform the services requested at a fair and reasonable price. The period of performance shall be one year beginning approximately October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003, with four option years to renew. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 622110 and the size standard is $ 29 million. This requirement is NOT SET-ASIDE. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
