Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, proposes to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the following construction project: Flood Control, Mississippi River & Tributaries (FC/MR&T), Yazoo Basin, Tallahatchie River Watershed, Tallahatchie C ounty, Mississippi, Upper Yazoo Projects, Item 7, Panola-Quitman Floodway and Tillatoba Creek, Grade Control Structures. The Government intends to release Solicitation No. DACW38-02-B-0027 on or about 17 May 2002 on the Internet. The Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any amendments to this solicitation. It is the Contractor?s responsibility to frequently view the solicitation up until the closing date at the following website: (http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contr act/). A minimum of 30 days from the date of release of the solicitation will be allowed for submission of bids (reference solicitation for actual required bid closing date tentatively scheduled for 18 June 2002). Specifications will be available on the Web and on Compact Disc (CD) at no charge. Hard copies will not be available. The CD-ROM should be requested electronically by registering on our home page or by mailing your request to the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO), Attn: Tina M. Landes (Tina.M.Landes@mvk02.usace.army.mil), at 4155 Clay Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183-4155. A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded utilizing the procedures for FAR Part 14 (Sealed Bidding). This IFB is issued as an unrestricted procurement.
