Description

This is Amendment 0001 to the Notice of Intent that was publicized in Federal Business Opportunities on April 24, 2002. The purpose of this Amendment is for the following: (1) Change the contract type to Cost Reimbursement from Firm-Fixed Price, (2) Change to Non-Commercial from under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, (3) Extend the response date to June 7, 2002 from April 26, 2002, and (4) To clarify the purpose of this acquisition is to acquire the expertise of the Multihazard Mitigation Council of the National Institute of the Building Sciences in natural and other related hazards to buildings by fostering and promoting consistent and improved multihazard risk mitigation strategies, guidelines, and practices. Their facilitation of the National Workshop on Prevention of Progressive Collapse is incidental to acquiring their expertise to fulfill this requirement. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Reference Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
