Description

NA The U.S Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick contracting Division has a requirement for 571 each, Adapter Warmer Range, NSN:7330-01-242-9180. The Government anticipates that this will result in a Firm-Fixed Price type purchase order. The general characteristics are: the Adapter Warmer Range is used in the Mobile Kitchen Trailer (MKT). The Adapter Warmer Range uses hot water to heat meal ready to eat rations for troops in the field. The Adapter Warmer Range sits on top of a pan approximately the s ame size containing warm water. The leg keeps it from sliding off the pan. The center cutout is for the pan of food to be kept warm to pass through into the warm water, with the outer edges of the food pan resting on the adapter. The Adapter Warmer Range s pecifications are as follows: 1. Part is made from 3/16? thick, 6061-T6, ASTM, Alum Plate. 2. Outside shape of plate, 17 3/8? X 20 7/8? with a 1? radius in each corner. 3. Cutout in the middle, 11 7/8? X 19 7/8? with a 3/16? radius in each corner. 4. Two legs made from 1 ?? SCH 40 pipe cut ?? long, cut in half and then welded on opposite corner, 9/32? from each edge. Offerors shall also submit a one page past performance sheet listing at least three (in the past two years) references for the same or similar item. The past performance sheet must contain a point of contact for each, a current telephone and fax number, o rder/contract number. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business The North American Industry Code is 33221 and the size standard is 500 employees. The offer with attachments will be posted on the center website: www3.natick.army.mil, on or abou t 30 April 2002. Award will be dependent upon availability of funds. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency. Quotes may be submitted via Fax (508) 233-5286 or sent by overnight or regular mail to Stephen S .
