- Description
- Multiple) award term contract in each of four categories for various Government Departments and Agencies within Printing Region IV. Beginning June 1, 2002 and ending May 31, 2003. Quality Level III and IV (as required). These specifications cover the production of various self and separate cover books and pamphlets requiring such operations as electronic prepress, film making, printing, binding, packing, mailing, and distribution. NOTE: PRODUCTION MUST BE ACHIEVED BY THE PRINTING PROCESS. FREQUENCY OF ORDERS: It is impossible to predetermine the number or frequency of orders which will be placed during the term of the contract. However, based upon past performance, the total number of orders in each category for a 12-month period is anticipated to be as follows: Category 1--Quantities up to and including 500 copies - approximately 195 orders; Category 2--Quantities of 501 up to and including 2,000 copies - approximately 185 orders; Category 3--Quantities of 2,001 up to and including 10,000 copies - approximately 100 orders; and Category 4--Quantities of 10,001 or more copies - approximately 20 orders. Page count will range from 2 to over 400. Various Trim Sizes: Format A will include any trim size up to and including 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" (including album style); Format B will include any trim size over 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" up to and including 8-1/2 x 11" (including album style). Deliver f.o.b. destination as indicated. Complete production and delivery is required within as indicated. Request for bid package may be FAXed to (404) 605-9185 on bidder?s letterhead.
