Description

NA The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the Item 477-L, Levee Enlargement in Issaquena County, Mississippi. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, s emicompacted levee embankment, removing and replacing existing gravel surfacing, providing new sand-clay-gravel or crushed limestone levee surfacing, mowing and turfing, removing and salvaging existing cattle guards and concrete bedding beams, furnishing a nd installing new cattle guards and new concrete bedding beams, corrugated metal pipe, protecting existing relief wells, providing as-built drawings (both blue line and electronic), performing associated Contractor quality control (including providing a CQ C System Manager who shall perform no other duties in addition to quality control), storm water pollution control and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and Specifications wi ll be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) web page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract and on compact disk at no charge. Hardcopies will not be available.
