- Description
- In response to solicitation SP0200-02-R-5002, Laboratory Corporate Exigency Contract (CEC) Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Program, DSCP intends to award a Firm Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery Type Contract(s) for a specified group of laboratory products to provide sustainment materiel to meet the Military Services' requirements in times of contingency operations. Any resultant contract(s) will contain a base period plus 9 one-year option periods for a total of 10 years. The objective is to buy access to planned readiness items by partnering with industry vice purchasing materiel and storing in Government warehouses. All items are brand name specific or generic commercial products. The contractor will be required to manage and rotate inventory levels and distribute the specific identified items. Orders will be placed through the DSCP Electronic Catalog System (ECAT), therefore, capability with the ECAT system is a mandatory requirement and the two communication strategies available for ECAT are Web Supplier Interface or American National Standards Institute (ANSI) X12 EDI Standards. Issuance of this solicitation will be posted to the Procurement Gateway on or about 5-15-02. A date for a Pre-Proposal Conference will be specified in the solicitation.
