- Description
- Global Air Traffic Management : Acquire commercial avionics systems to include TCAS and TAWS systems for use by multiple aircraft platform System Program Offices. These systems shall be certified by a Civil Aviation Authority or DoD certifying authority and meet the requirements stated in the System Requirements Document (SRD) attached to this Statement of Objectives. Products shall be certified not later than the first required delivery date established in the basic contract. The purpose is to upgrade aircraft fleets to meet planned International Civil Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) standards and SECDEF directed Navigation and Safety Mandate.
