Description

NA This pre-solicitation and solicitation synopsis is for construction to repair the dock canopy, West side Bldg 2, and repair of stucco, east/west sides of Bldg 2 and west side of Bldg 4, Bays 1,2,3,and 5 at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Work to include, but is not limited to: selective demolition work, cutting and patching, masonry, rough carpentry, finish work, incidental related work, sheet metal work, joint sealants, standing seam roofing, stucco on exterior walls, painting, related electrical and fire/heat alar m system work, removal of resulting rubbish and debris. Estimated magnitude is between $500,000-$1,000,000. This action is unrestricted. NAICS is 23561(Roofing, siding and sheetmetal), average annual receipts $11.5 million. Solicitation number DAAB17- 02-B-0006 applies. This solicitation, including specifications and drawings, will be issued electronically only. Any amendments will also be issued electronically only. No paper or disk will be available. Issue is in accordance with FAR 4.502, 5.102(d) , and 14.205-1(a). Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after issue date at the following internet address: https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. At the ABOP, at NEW USERS follow instructions to register. After obtaining a password (usually provided within 24 hours), go to ABOP and, under ARMY SOLICITATIONS, SELECT CECOM. View solicitation by All Business Opportunities by Number and select DAAB17-02-B-0006. It is incumbent that any interested sources periodically access the internet site to obtain any amendments. Failure to obtain amendments and/or acknowledge amendments by the time set for bid opening may result in rejection of your bid. Due to the use of electronic solicitation, the Government is unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Bidders are encouraged to register as a potential source for this solicitation (see top of screen for POTENTIAL SOURCES)and to view the registered firms under the Potential Sources logo on the internet site. Bidders are further notified that bids must b e submitted in HARD COPY ONLY. ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Estimated issue/opening dates are 26 APR 2002 and 28 MAY 2002. Actual issue and open dates shall be as established in the solicitation.
