- THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR AWARD TO A CERTIFIED HUBZONE BUSINESS CONCERN. The purpose of this solicitation is for installation of a new water distribution system with chlorination. Work includes site work (including excavating and shoring), installing 2 inch polyethylene main line, 1.5 inch and 1 inch PE service lines, yard hydrants, and vacuum breakers. Work will also include erecting Government-furnished building kit, installing chlorination system and installing electrical improvements. Other work items may include installing an additional 1.5 inch PE service line to corral area, new reservoir access hatches, reservoir ladders and well vault improvements. A prebid meeting will be conducted at Steliko Work Center on 4/30/02 at 10:00 a.m. The Government's Estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid (20%), Performance (100%) and Payment (100%) bonds are required. Estimated start work date is 6/15/02 with 90 days contract time. North American Industry Code is 234910.
