Description

The Department of Commerce (DOC), Commerce Information Technology Solutions Division (CITS) intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Bloomberg, LP for use of its software services subscription in which includes twenty-four hours a day, comprehensive news coverage and service on the following areas:  Economic statistics, indices, markets, and currency rates.  Bond markets companies, economies, and politics.  Energy markets, including oil, natural gas, electricity, and petroleum products.  Analytics/charting and information on third-party contributors such as the International Monetary Fund and the Federal News Service. This award will be a firm-fixed price contract, which consists of a base period of twelve months commencing August 1, 2002 with four one year option periods.
