- Description
- Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, tools, transportation, and vehicles to pick up and dispose of contents of thirty (30), eight (8) yard containers located throughout the Medical Center's campus. Trash shall be delivered to the city of Salem solid waste disposal plant. Trash removal shall be performed three (3) times per week. Contract shall be for one year with two, one-year renewal options. This procurement is a commercial item acquistion conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and applicable sections of FAR Part 14. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS Code 562111 applies with a small business size standard of $10M in gross annual receipts. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. The solicitation will be available for download at no charge o/a November 26, 2001, via the VA Business Opportunities System website at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm.Solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and no hard copies will be provided by the VA. Any amendments will be posted at the website. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all documents and amendments. Bids submitted must have an original signature by an individual authorized to bind the company. Electronic offers will not be accepted.
