- Description
- Real-time thermal cycler capable of distinguishing and quantifying bacteria, fungi, protozoan, rotifers, nematodes, algae, plants and other classes of micro-organisms according to their DNA signatures. Quotes will be accepted for new and demo machines, but not used machines. The following features and attributes have been identified as critical for the real-time thermal cycler: 1. The analytical device shall use a traditional tube format and have 96-sample capacity. Glass capillaries shall not be used due to fluor interference and the potential for nucleic acids binding to the glass and affecting the reproducibility of the analysis. 2. The thermal cycling system shall be a Peltier type system with temperature gradient capability to optimize assay quality. 3.
