Description
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a sole source contract to SCRA Inc. 5300 International Blvd. North Charleston, SC 29418. DISA has a requirement to provide enhancements to the ODM and Rule Engine Modules of the DOD EMALL. This requirement is for the proprietary software from SCRA. The software will be used to support and expand the DOD EMALL. This software is required to expand the existing EMALL to include On Demand manufacturing capability and a Service Rule Engine within the EMALL. This acquisition is to enhancements only. The vendor shall supply computer operation and sustaining software-engineering services in support of emerging electronic commerce initiatives within the DOD and other areas in the Federal Government. The purpose of this acquisition is to maintain and enhance the current On Demand Manufacturing and Service rule Engine software. These services will include providing 24 hours, 7 days per week operation of software engineering support for the application software. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW Far 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2302 (c) (1) and is solely at the discretion of the Government.
