Description
The Immigration and Naturalization Service, Dallas, Texas is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written Solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation #ACD-2-Q-0013 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Acquisition Circular 2001-05. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 336412 and the small business size standard is 1000. A single firm-fixed price award will be made. Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) 0001: Fuel Control Unit P/N 01644448430 on an exchange basis, 1 Each, Unit Price $_________; FOB: Destination; shipped to: U.S. Border Patrol Air Operations, Del Rio Int'l Airport; W. 15TH Street; Del Rio, Texas 78840. Required Delivery: 2 days after receipt of order. Fuel Control Unit purchased on an exchange basis with all the latest modifications shall have a warranty of 9 months, 800 hours and a TBO of 3,000 hours. All warranty periods will commence at the time the component is placed into service by the government. All parts or materials furnished by the contractor shall have their origin, either (1) the holder of an appropriate FAA Production Certificate or his licensee, or (2) the holder of an appropriate FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval (FAA-PMA), or (3) a foreign manufacturer when the country of manufacture has an agreement with the United States for import and has issued an appropriate certificate of airworthiness, or (4) the holder of an appropriate Technical Standard Order (TSO) authorization, or (5) a manufacturer who has identified the item as FAA-Approved by providing a properly executed Airworthiness Approval Tag, FAA Form 8130-3. The Contractor shall provide the historical record for the purchased Fuel Control Unit. The Government will furnish a repairable core P/N 01644448380 with the historical record within 10 days after receipt of the purchased exchange unit. Should the Government core unit be unacceptable for exchange, the Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer and arrangements shall be made for the return of the unit at Government expense and a different core will be provided. The following provision and clauses apply: FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. Also, the full text of a solicitation provision may be accessed electronically at http://www.arnet.gov./far. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable. Paragraph (a), evaluation criteria are as follows: Award will be made to the most advantageous offer to the Government, price and other factors considered. Past Performance: Include a list of prior government contracts for the past three years which includes the name and phone number of the Contracting Officer; name and phone number of your bank and other references; THE OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items, along with the offer. Offeror should also include its DUNS number.
