Description

UNICOR, FPI intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for fabric (FAB0210). This requirement will be issued as a Request for Proposal. The period of performance is for two (2) years. Specifications shall be as follows: LINE ITEM 0001 - UNICOR PART NUMBER: FAB0210 - TWL,CTT,WHT/RED-STRIPE,16.5"X37.5"* TWL BLANKS,WHT,CRASH CTT. MATERIAL SHALL BE IAW ASTM-D-5433 (EXCEPT THAT THE WIDTH SHALL BE 16-1/2"MIN;-AND-LNGTH (CUT) SHALL BE 37--1/2"MIN). COLOR: BLEACHED WHT. GROUND WARP/FILLING YRNS SHALL BE CTTN. UNIT/MEASURE: EA. Delivery is FOB Destination: USP Terre Haute, IN. Delivery Acceptance is 30 days after receipt of delivery order. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 3,000 each. Bid Samples are required and are a condition of contract award. This requirement is domestic only. The award will be based on the best value to the Government. The evaluation factors are: past performance, ability to conform to specifications, and price. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about March 29, 2002. All interested parties shall retrieve a complete copy of the solicitation from the Federal Business Opportunities website at: "www.eps.gov". No telephone or mailed requests will be honored. All questions/inquiries shall be put in writing and addressed to the Contracting Officer indicated in this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. One original signed copy of the solicitation is to be completed in its entirety and mailed to the attention of Mellisa Rhinehart, UNICOR Clothing & Textiles Business Group, 6th Floor, 400 First Street, NW, Washington, DC 20534.
