- Notice is hereby provided of the Government requirement to procure for the construction of initial space alterations (approx. 2,159usf), in the Michael J. Dillon Courthouse, Buffalo, NY. The successful contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, and supervision. The proposed construction includes, but is not limited to, demolition of partitions and restrooms, HVAC construction and shell buildout and lead and asbestos abatement. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 233320 and the size standard is $28.5 million. Performance and payment bonds will be required following award pursuant to the Miller Act. A bid guarantee is also required. This procurement is 100% set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered. All responsible HUBZone sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The required construction completion date is 120 days commencing one day after the notice to proceed. The tentative solicitation release date is fifteen (15) days from posting to GSA FedBizOpps website. GSA is issuing this solicitation only electronically. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. This solicitation incorporates documents which are not available electronically on the Government Port of Entry (GPE). Interested parties may request copies of these documents by writing the Contracting Officer at the address in Block 7 of the SF 1442 and at the address shown herein. Notice of the solicitation and amendments to the solicitation will be available for downloading on the GSA FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation, amendments to the solicitation, specifications and drawings will only be available through a secured Internet site. Interested parties shall send all requests to access the secured Internet site and requests for the solicitation to the attention of Joan Koeppe at the email address shown in this presolicitation notice. Contractors are requested to provide a street address, telephone number, business license or other documentation granted by the state or local jurisdiction to conduct business, valid DUNS number, valid IRS Tax ID Number and email address. Contractors will also be required to sign a Document Security Notice. Once the request for the solicitation has been accepted, two emails will be sent to the email address provided. The emails will provide instructions for entry into the secured Internet site and access to the solicitation. Contractors should request E-mail notification from FedBizOpps in order to remain apprised of solicitation availability. E-mail all requests to the attention of Joan Koeppe at email address shown.
