- Description
- This project includes but is not limited to Installation of ADA fire alarm strobes and the bosster panels required to operate. ADA strobes shall be initiated by, and compatible with, the existing fire alarm system. The building will be occupied during the project, so work shall be performed after normal working hours. The NAICS Code is 235990 with a size standards of $11.5 million. The estimated cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. Project is a small business set-aside. Contractor's personnel shall be required to obtain security clearance for access to building prior to working on this project. Contractor's requesting copies of the solicitation package are required to comply with the following requirements: Provide a copy of a valid business license. The license at a minimum shall provide the name, address, phone number of the company, state of incorporation, and the name of the individual legally authorized to act for the company. The business must be of the type required to do the work. If a business license is not required by the jurisdiction, the information shall be provided and certified. Verification of a valid DUNS number against the company name listed on the business license or certification. Verification may be obtained through http://www.fpdc.gov, or by calling Dun & Bradstreet at 703-807-5078 to set up an account. A valid TAX ID number of the company requesting the information. A signed certification from the authorized user acknowledging the requirement to safeguard the SBU building information. The certificate shall include the definitions of "reasonable care" as defined under PBS order PBS3490.1. A valid driver's license shall be required of person(s) picking up documents. Phone verification must be made to a previously validated authorized user that the individual picking up the documentation is authorized to do so by the company obtaining the documents.
