- This publication serves as a notice of intent to acquire technical and analytical services for EPA's Office of Chemical Emergency Preparedness and Prevention Office (CEPPO). CEPPO is responsible for national programs in preparedness for, response to, and prevention of chemical accidents and in response to environmental aspects of emergency response to national disasters. Also, CEPPO is involved in elements of programs for local, State and Federal Government, industry, and private, public, and international organizations. These activities include support for the following: Analytical Support; Technical Assistance; Conference and Meeting Support; Training Support; Communications and Outreach Support; Program Evaluation Support; and Management Systems and Planning Support. This effort is being competed on a full and open competition basis - all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. The Government anticipates award of one (1) cost reimbursable Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE) contract for a total performance period of sixty (60) months. The Request for Proposals (RFP) is available on EPA Office of Acquisition Management's (OAM) homepage on the "Doing Business with EPA" Internet World Wide Web site (http://www.epa.gov/oam/srpod) Responses are due by April 22, 2002. Telephonic requests for information relating to this procurement will not be honored. EPA does not anticipate printing copies of the RFP, therefore, Potential Offerors are requested to download the RFP and amendments from the website, rather than requesting hard copies from this office. Requests to be placed on the source list may be forwarded to Schermerhorn.Tiffany@epa.gov. Potential Offerors are not required to be on the source list in order to submit a proposal.
