- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation nexessary to provide swimming pool maintenance and life guard services at Mitchel Field Complex, East Meadow, NY. This solicitation contains a base period and four 12-month option periods to be exercised by the Government if found to be in its best interests. The options may be exercised without further notice. FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services will be included in this solicitation. NAICS (SIC) 561790 Small Business Size Standard $6.0 million. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) package will be available on the Internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors establishing an account and registering at the site for this IFB and will be notified by e-mail when the IFB package is available for downloading. THE "RESPONSE DATE" STATED IN THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS AN APPROXIMATE DATE. An official Planholders List will be maintained on-line and can be printed from the web site - List will not be faxed. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (Amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. Questions about this solicitation MUST be submitted in writing. The questions should be faxed to (860) 694-4565, Attn: Contract Specialist. Per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in the CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing web site www.ccr2000.com or by referring to DFARS Subpart 204.73. Offerors should submit verification of their firm's registration in the CCR Database with their bid.
