- Description
- The Newport and Sullivan Lake Ranger Districts of the Colville National Forest (located in Northeast Washington) require herbicide treatment of noxious weeds in Pend Oreille County, Washington. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies to complete the job. Contractor furnished herbicide is Tordon 22K (and on some specific sites it is Galon 3A) or equal. A WA state license is required for herbicide application. Backpack, ATV, and truck spraying are allowed. This requirement will be an indefinite quantity contract. The Government is estimating approximately 26 project locations, comprised of numerous sites, totaling approximately 537 acres. Price will be quoted by the acre. Projects vary in location from Metaline Falls to Newport, Washington. Task orders will be placed based on site conditions and funding availability. Contract time is estimated from May 15th through October 15th, depending on weather and site locations. The Contractor will be paid for actual work performed. This project will be advertised as a written request for quotations. Estimated issue date is April 12, 2002, with quotations due May 1, 2002. The project is a 100 percent small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 115112 and Size Standard is $5 million. The solicitation is estimated to issue April 12, 2002, and will be posted electronically at this (FedBizOpps) site when it issues.
