Description
Contract completion date is 210 calendar days from the receipt of the notice to proceed. This contract has a base offer plus four options. This project encompasses removal of existing light fixtures, furnishing and installation of new lighting, power and communications distribution; installation of conduit and back boxes for installation of security cameras and equipment under separate contract, installation of new shacke loop, expansion of the existing jury box including new chairs to match existing; miscellaneous exterior improvements to entrance canopy, stair railings, and fence on southern building elevation. Options consist of re-coating existing fixed furnishings and millwork, painting, acoustic plaster panels, installation of new gates and hardware in spectator benches, cleaning ornamental metalwork, millwork, vinyl wall covering, carpeting, window draperies and blinds. This procurement is open to all business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System is 233320 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The estimate cost range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a negotiated best value procurement. General Services Administration, PBS, Property Management Division, Contract Support Services Branch, 5PMC, will no longer issue construction solicitations via the Federal Business Opportunities website. All requests for a copy of the solicitation and drawings must be requested in writing. Any request for a copy of the documents must be made on the company's official letterhead, accompanied by an original signature. In order for the request to be valid, the requester must also provide one of the following documents: (1) Company's current business license; (2) a valid Dun and Bradstreet number; or (3) a valid state driver's license. No fax, telephonic, or e-mail requests will be honored. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All solicitations will be issued on compact disc and mailed to the requester upon receipt of required information All requests should be submitted to the point of contact at the following address: 211 West Fort Street, Room 1720, Detroit, MI 48226. The solicitation will be mailed on or about April 8, 2002. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be May 13, 2002, at 4:00 p.m. (local time).
