- Description
- The Department of the Navy, NAVSEA SUPSHIP Puget Sound Command contemplates the award of an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) , Multiple Award type contract(s) (MAC), with Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) delivery orders, from this solicitation. This solicitation will be awarded in accordance with the Navy Homeport Policy. The primary purpose of the resultant contract(s) is to support Puget Sound Naval Shipyard accomplish their mission Depot-Level Maintenance and Repair requirements (see below) for water borne vessels, surface ships and submarines under their cognizant. a. Maintenance & Repair Availabilities. Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRAs), Phased Maintenance Availabilities (PMAs), Restricted Availabilities (RAVs), Technical Availabilities (TAVs) and Emergent Non-scheduled repairs and Alterations requirements between scheduled availabilities are examples of work intended to be accomplished under the resultant contract. b. NAVSEA Puget Sound will be using this contractual vehicle to obtain the gamut of maintenance and repair services for water borne vessels, surface and submarine class ships with home ports in Bremerton, Keyport, Bangor and Everett, Washington. c. Government will provide following facilities (unless otherwise specified in an individual delivery order for the performance of work): Puget Sound Naval Shipyard piers, drydocks and/or Naval Station piers at Bremerton and Everett, Washington. This solicitation is restricted to holders of Master Ship Repair Agreements (MSRA) and Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) firms prior to contract award. Any firm that does not possess an MSRA or ABR at the time of contract award will not be considered eligible for award. The resultant contract(s) will be an IDIQ contract. Each IDIQ c ontractor(s) will be given the "fair opportunity to be considered for every delivery order in accordance with FAR 16.505(b). Under this contract, each FFP, delivery order will specify the details of the requirement including work specifications, period of performance, and place of performance.
