Description

NA Solicitation DABT23-02-R-0008 is for service to perform unit level (operator/organizational) maintenance of tactical military vehicles and equipment and required support services (i.e. ammunition, equipment and fuel hauling, receiving and dispensing of fue l, vehicle recovery, record keeping, equipment scheduling, etc.) at Fort Knox, Kentucky. This is an A-76 Study conducted under OMB Circular A-76 utilizing source selection procedures. This solicitation is being issued on a Full and Open Competitive (unrest ricted) basis. The apparent successful offeror will compete against a Government In-House bid. If contracted, the services will include a 90-day Phase-In period, a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods (the last option will contain a 6 0-day Phase-Out period that is included in the 12-month performance period). Oral presentations will be required. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. The solicitation will be posted to the Fort Knox homepage website at http://147.238.100.1 01/garrison/doc/ and at the TRADOC Acquisition Center website at http://www.tac.eustis.army.mil on or about 19 April 2002 with proposals due on or about 18 June 2002. Please note that these dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation w ill be likewise posted on these websites. Contractors are cautioned to check these websites periodically for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. A site visit will be scheduled and con ducted approximately 2 weeks after issuance.
