- STATEMENT OF WORK FOR ENVIRONMENTAL OPEN-END ARCHITECT-ENGINEER SERVICES (A-E) To provide Architect-Engineer (A-E) Services for Indefinite Delivery/Quantity (Open-End) Environmental Services on Barksdale AFB, LA. The environmental services contract will be issued for a period of one year with four one-year option periods. The cumulative amount of delivery orders will not exceed $249,500 for the basic year or the option-years. Delivery orders will be issued from time to time as the need arises during the contract period. A minimum of $5,000 in fee work will be issued. Environmental services required may include but not limited to site assessments, investigations and studies, sampling and analysis, regulatory compliance and permitting, Geographic Information System (GIS) support, new technology evaluation and guidance and project drawings, specifications and cost estimates. Projects and studies may involve wastewater/stormwater management, disposal of waste solids and liquids (hazardous and non-hazardous), underground storage tanks, asbestos abatement, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) management, air emissions compliance, lead based paint, and pollution prevention opportunity support. Specifications and other reports, when requested, must be provided in hard copy and on 3 ? inch high-density disks or compact disks (CD-ROM) in Microsoft Word Version 6.0 for Windows or Word for Windows 95. Drawings, when requested, must be provided in AUTOCAD for Windows Release 14 using Tri-service standards for details, layering and entities. Firms should describe their computer/word processing capabilities in their submittals. Designs may need to include provisions for asbestos/lead removal. A-E selection will be limited to forms submitting Standard Forms 254 and 255, and will be based solely on these forms.
